Lunchtime Jams 2025
Lunchtime jams are a fantastic opportunity for the talented Monster Music kids to step into the spotlight and share the awesome songs they've been working so hard on. Students of all levels can perform a song for their school-mates in a supportive, friendly, and relaxed atmosphere. It's a great way to build confidence, discover new music, and support your fellow Monsters.
How to Join In:
Ask your tutor to sign you up and prepare one song to perform, solo or with friends. Bring your instrument, or let us know if you need school equipment. Backing tracks are welcome! Even if you're not performing, come along and enjoy the show! It's a fantastic way to spend your lunch break and support your talented classmates.
Lunchtime Jams are scheduled throughout the year, talk to your tutor to get involved!

Monster Music are taking over The Laboratory Lincoln for an afternoon of epic Monster Musicians!
Mid Year Concerts 2025
The End of Year Concerts are a super fun event where ALL of the students that learn with Monster Music have the opportunity to perform something that they have been working on. All concerts will be held at A Rolling Stone (A super cool bar on Colombo Street.)
Monster Music End Of Year Fun Day!
LOOP has once again invited Monster Music to join their End of Year Fun Day! This is an awesome chance for all Monster Music students to get together and hang out in a super fun environment!

Showcase at Joes Garage
We are super excited to be able to hold a showcase at Joe's Garage Cranford Street on the 20th October.
We have an epic line up of young musicians who will be entertaining in the outdoor area between 2pm and 5pm. It will be a great chance to support some young muso's, eat some delicious food and wind down with some buddies before the week starts!
Joe's Garage have always been incredibly generous with giving us prizes for our concerts, so it's time for us to give back to them!
A Rolling Stone Showcase
Monster Music and A Rolling Stone have teamed up once again to put on a musical showcase of some of Christchurch's most talented primary school aged performers.
This event is a chance for some of Monster Music's most confident muso's to take to the stage and perform at one of the cities coolest venues.
Food Truck Alley Event
Monster Musicians will be performing at Food Truck Alley at the Pleasant Point Community Centre on the 29th September at 4pm-7pm.
Busking at Prestons New World
The Monster Music buskers will be performing at Prestons New World between 12pm and 2pm on this day. Come along and check it out, we would love your support!
